The Idibia family has submitted a formal petition to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), calling for a comprehensive investigation into a series of serious allegations involving Miss Natasha Irobosa Osawaru against their son and brother, Mr. Innocent Ujah Idibia.
The petition, addressed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, outlines multiple incidents said to have occurred in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
According to the petition, the family alleges that Natasha physically assaulted Innocent on several occasions, causing him emotional distress, financial loss, and public embarrassment.
The document further accuses Natasha of unauthorized access to Innocent’s phone and bank accounts, as well as the alleged transfer of funds without consent.
The Idibia family also claims that Natasha seized Innocent’s personal belongings and travel documents—including his passport—thereby preventing him from attending business engagements and performances.
This action, they say, has contributed to reputational damage and professional setbacks.
Another serious accusation raised is substance abuse. The petition states that Natasha’s alleged drug use has resulted in violent behavior, further endangering Innocent’s emotional and mental well-being.
Additionally, the family highlights a possible case of bigamy, noting that Innocent has not legally dissolved his previous marriage. They argue that Natasha’s public representation of herself as his wife constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation and should be investigated.
The Idibias are urging the IGP to intervene urgently, stating that Innocent’s safety, mental health, and financial stability remain at significant risk if the situation continues unchecked.
