Ada Ujaligwa, a Nigerian woman living overseas, has sparked conversations online after urging Nigerian men in the diaspora to consider marrying fellow Nigerian women abroad.
She made the appeal in a Facebook post shared on April 8, where she highlighted the qualities of many Nigerian women living outside the country.
According to Ada, there are numerous decent and well-mannered Nigerian women overseas who would make suitable partners.
She suggested that some Nigerian men avoid marrying them because they cannot treat them poorly without consequences.
In her words:
“Abroad Naija man pls marry from abroad. There are very decent well behaved Naija young babes abroad. Just find one that aligns with your values. Many of you avoid abroad babes bcos you know you can not treat them anyhow and get away with it.”
Her statement has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with users sharing different opinions on relationships and marriage among Nigerians living abroad.
