Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reportedly distanced herself from colleague Biola Adebayo by unfollowing her on Instagram.
This development comes shortly after Biola’s controversial podcast interview with convicted actor Baba Ijesha.
A check on Iyabo’s Instagram page shows that she no longer follows Biola, although the gesture appears to be one-sided, as Biola still keeps Iyabo on her followers list.
The move is believed to be linked to the backlash surrounding Biola’s interview with Baba Ijesha, where he denied allegations of sexually assaulting a minor and insisted the situation was staged.
During the conversation, he also expressed pain over Iyabo’s involvement in the matter, stating that she once trusted him enough to leave her children in his care when they were younger.
Reacting strongly, Iyabo Ojo issued a firm warning to the actor over mentioning her children.
While she acknowledged his right to share his version of events, she drew a clear boundary regarding her family.
She said she has “no problem with him telling his side of the story”, but emphasised that “this is a notice to cease from using my children as your cheap bait. It won’t fly.”
She further cautioned: “Please don’t drag my kids into this. Stop mentioning their names else I would direct my counsel to serve you appropriate papers,” making it clear she is prepared to take legal action if necessary.
