Highly-rated music star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has reportedly been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of his close associate and socialite, Denisi.
The sad development comes shortly after the singer was recently reported to be facing a ₦1 billion legal dispute involving Sophia Momodu, adding to what many fans describe as a difficult period for the music star.
News of Denisi’s passing surfaced on social media after his friend and associate, Joel Heugh Boyseen, shared emotional tributes on Instagram announcing the tragic loss.
Although the exact cause of death has not been disclosed, the posts expressed deep grief and shock among those who knew the late socialite.
In one of his messages mourning the deceased, Boyseen wrote:
“Love you always my broski, this one pain me,” highlighting the emotional impact of the loss.
The tribute continued with another heartfelt post in which he reflected on their recent experiences together in South Africa.
According to him, Denisi had relocated there alongside friends to spend time with him, where they had begun forming new friendships and building memories.
Boyseen also revealed that Denisi had quickly become well-liked among their circle during their time in the country, noting that many people in Cape Town were saddened by the news of his passing.
He wrote emotionally:
“Yall moved countries to dey with me for Southy brooo. My surest guy I just sorted Southy for us. You made many brothers for this short while in Southy. Capetown be crying. Brother wake up abeg.”
