Some of the clips also featured Anthony Joshua. Not long before the crash, Latif Ayodele had also shared an Instagram story that was reposted from Anthony Joshua’s own account.

The short video showed the two men playing table tennis in a serene environment which soon became Latz’ final shared memories.

Anthony Joshua had only recently returned to competitive boxing after spending more than a year away from the ring.

His comeback fight attracted massive global attention and after the fight, he travelled to Nigeria to spend the New Year period with his family, with no public engagements attached to the visit.

There had been expectations that Joshua would resume his professional commitments shortly after, with future fights reportedly being planned abroad and longer-term ambitions still in view.

However, the fatal crash has now shifted attention away from sporting prospects to the devastating personal losses involved.

Alongside Latif Ayodele, Sina Ghami, Anthony Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach for more than a decade, also lost his life in the collision.
