The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has implemented a fresh hike in petrol prices across its retail stations nationwide.
In Lagos, the pump price increased from N1,230 to N1,330 per litre, while in Abuja, it rose from N1,260 to N1,361 per litre.
The adjustment reflects ongoing pressure from rising global crude oil prices and supply challenges

Breakdown of the new NNPC pump prices shows:

The upward review aligns with broader market trends, as oil marketers continue to revise prices in response to shifting global oil costs and supply dynamics.
Similarly, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc has adjusted its pricing structure. The company announced a new pump price of N1,332 per litre for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
It also set ex-depot prices at N1,290 per litre for company delivery and N1,282 per litre for self-collection, based on data from Petroleumprice.ng.
Retail outlets have been instructed to comply immediately, with its ordering platform reopened for fresh transactions.
In the same vein, Ardova Plc raised its Lagos pump price to N1,350 per litre from N1,230.
A market survey by Legit.ng indicates that many filling stations now sell petrol within the range of N1,330 to N1,355 per litre.
Overall, the latest adjustments are expected to drive fuel prices even higher across the country, adding to existing inflationary pressures as energy costs continue to surge.
