Fast-rising singer, funanya, aka Nanya_music or Soprano Queen, a popular chorister in Abuja sadly passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, after a cobra bit her inside her room.
In videos shared online, a snake catcher is seen holding a cobra that was found in the singer’s room.
People are heard saying there may be more snakes inside because Nanya had previously complained that “she saw a grown one” in her house.

Some unconfirmed reports on Facebook claim two snakes were found in her house.
The Abuja choral community have gone on Facebook to mourn her, with many insisting her death was “not ordinary”.
Others hailed her as a real talent with a sonorous voice who was on her way to stardom.
The update has triggered panic and emotional comments from cybernauts accordingly.
