According to the hospital management, Nanya was attended to immediately upon arrival. Medical personnel reportedly initiated emergency care without delay, including resuscitation, intravenous fluids, intranasal oxygen support, and the administration of polyvalent anti-snake venom.
The statement noted that a rapid clinical assessment revealed she had already developed severe neurotoxic complications from the snake bite.
Based on her condition, arrangements were promptly made to transfer her to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for advanced treatment.
However, before the transfer could be completed, her condition deteriorated suddenly.
