Yazz Nasir, a close associate of one of Anthony Joshua’s late friends, Latz has shared an update regarding the funeral which took place on Sunday, January 4th 2026.
Latz and Sina Ghami (Anthony Joshua’s friends and trainers) lost their lives in a deadly car crash on 29th December 2025 on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while heading to the boxer’s family house.
Be it as it may, Anthony Joshua and the driver survived the accident.
In a recent development, Yazz Nasir who attended the burial of Latz noted that people came out in mass as his remains got laid to rest.
He averred that although Latz has departed the world, he leaves a lasting impression on people who knew him.
He also prayed that Allah accepts Latz soul and grant his Jannah.
Sharing the post, he wrote:
“Today, we mournfully laid to rest our beloved brother Latz, and Alhamdulilah, the turnout was truly remarkable. Countless brothers gathered to pray for an extraordinary individual. I am certain we all would ‘Dream’ of such a turnout when our time comes. Although Latz has departed this temporary world , he leaves a lasting impression on everyone that knew him 💔”
