Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham and Iyabo Ojo have shut down rumours suggesting there is tension between them after the buzz surrounding the premiere of The Return of Arinzo.
As the movie officially debuted in cinemas on Friday, April 3, 2026, Toyin publicly showed support for the project, signaling that there was no bad blood.
She took to her Instagram page to promote the film, encouraging her followers to turn up at cinemas nationwide.
She wrote:
“The Return of Arinzo is now showing in all cinemas, pls go out and support,”
Her gesture didn’t go unnoticed, as Iyabo Ojo responded warmly in the comment section, appreciating the support and referring to Toyin as family. She replied:
“Thank you my darling sister,”
Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla also joined her mother to thank Toyin Abraham for the PR.

Their interaction comes amid ongoing conversations about the clash involving Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham.
Iyabo Ojo had earlier explained that the tension between both actresses resurfaced in December 2025 after Toyin raised concerns about alleged attempts to undermine her film in cinemas.
Iyabo also disclosed that Toyin was initially expected to feature in The Return of Arinzo but later opted out before production was completed.
Despite the surrounding drama, the latest exchange between Iyabo and Toyin suggests that their relationship remains intact and unaffected.
