Nigerian media personality, King Mitchy has reacted after being linked to a controversial bedroom clip making rounds online, amidst her ongoing clash with activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM).
The dispute, which has played out over several days, started when Mitchy blasted VDM over remarks he made regarding her charity activities at a school in Delta State.
What began as a simple disagreement quickly escalated into a public exchange, with both sides calling each other out across social media platforms.
During the heated back-and-forth, VDM alleged that Mitchy was being sponsored by Seyi Tinubu, further intensifying the controversy and drawing more public attention.
In an apparent attempt to ease tensions, Mitchy later issued an apology on Instagram, acknowledging VDM’s activism and expressing regret over how the situation unfolded.
However, the move failed to resolve the conflict, as VDM rejected the apology, describing it as lacking sincerity while continuing to address the matter in his videos.
The situation took another turn when VDM, during a live broadcast with content creator Nasboi, reportedly played an audio clip alleged to contain intimate sounds linked to Mitchy.
Around the same period, a video purportedly featuring the influencer began circulating on Telegram, sparking widespread reactions online.
As of the time of this report, the authenticity of the clip remains unconfirmed.
Amid the ongoing buzz, Mitchy returned to her Instagram stories with a post that many interpreted as a subtle response.
Sharing a video of herself, she reacted to a sound replicating the viral ‘Yakubu Manage’ meme, but this time her name was used.
The sound sarcastically urged her to manage, adding that ‘she will feel it like she wants to die but she wouldn’t.’
In the caption, she averred that what some considered an insult had instead become a TikTok challenge.
