Ossai Ovie Success affirmed that Chioma, being a role model to young Nigerian ladies, her dressing will have a negative influence on them.

He also blamed Davido for allowing Chioma dress in such a manner, adding that cultural representation matters.

Recall that Davido’s ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay, Burna Boy’s ‘Love’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Gimme Dat’ featuring Wizkid, Tyla’s ‘Push 2 Start’ and “Hope & Love” by  Eddy Kenzo & Mehran Matin were all nominated for the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category at the 68th Grammy Awards.

However, once again Tyla clinched the prestigious award.

Sharing photos of Davido and Chioma at the event, he wrote:

“I am disappointed in Chioma Davido’s dressing: She shouldn’t have been half n*ked to Grammy

She didn’t represent Nigerian culture well, embracing a half n*ked revealing Western style instead.

As a role model to many Nigerian young ladies, her dressing internationally will negatively influence them.

I also expected Davido to guide her better.

Cultural representation matters, and it’s crucial.

I am disappointed in Davido for allowing her to dress this way .

I am really disappointed”
