Social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan has disclosed the condition under which he would forgive businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika alias Blord and withdraw the legal case that led to his detention at Kuje prison.
The situation follows an order by the Federal High Court remanding BLord at the Kuje Correctional Centre over allegations bordering on impersonation and related offences filed by the activist.
In a new development, VeryDarkMan indicated that he is open to resolving the dispute, but only if a particular demand is fulfilled.
This revelation emerged during an online interaction between him and human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju, who has been making efforts to mediate between both parties.
During the exchange, the activist affirmed that he was willing to end the case immediately if his condition was accepted.
“I will forgive BLord tonight and withdraw the case if you accept my conditions,” he wrote.
Adeyanju, who appeared keen on settling the matter, asked him to specify the terms, noting that he had already been appealing on BLord’s behalf.
“What are the conditions? You know I have been begging on his behalf,” the lawyer responded.
VeryDarkMan then revealed his demand, stating that the mediator (Deji Adeyanju) must publicly declare support for the ruling party and the President.
“I want you to go online and shout, ‘I love APC and I love President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he’s my godfather” he stated.
He further made a controversial remark, stating that people like Blord do not deserve to witness the resurrection of Jesus Christ hence he should remain in cell.
