A Nigerian man has taken to social media to publicly call out Davido’s wife, Chioma over her fashion choice.
The man, identified as Chiedu Ikechukwu, shared a Facebook post that quickly went viral, where he questioned the cost of the outfit worn by Chioma Adeleke.
In his post, he compared the estimated price of her clothing to his personal earnings, claiming it was equivalent to several years of his salary.
He also argued that the same amount of money could cater to the needs of many people for months.
Expressing his concerns directly, he wrote,
“Dear Chioma Adeleke the wife to Davido, Is this outfit not too expensive especially the shoe? Do you know that the cost of your outfit is my 14years salary, How will you be wearing outfit that can feed 5,000 people for 3months, Chioma what happen to Okrika outfit of 10k, Why wasting money on clothes you can buy in Aba, Onitsha, Okirika for a cheaper amount as low as 10k, Chef Chi please learn to manage and economize.”
