Widely known clergyman, Dolapo Lawal has elicited mixed comments from social media users over his words during a sermon.
Pastor Dolapo Lawal, who recently became an internet sensation with his videos going viral online, has left many talking due to a recent clip.
In the video, the founder of the Zoe Household Global church recalled how he was down with acute malaria the last time he visited Nigeria.
Emphasising the seriousness of the situation, he uttered some words on the pulpit which didn’t sit well with many.
Pastor Dolapo Lawal said ‘Allah Akbar’, then continued to narrate that he even thought he was going to die as he began to fervently pray.
He noted that at that point, his properties and possessions were the least of his worries as he just wanted to recover.
Pastor Dolapo Lawal added that when he finally travelled back, he told his wife that he’s going to do whatever God put in his heart in courtesy of his terrible experience which showed showed him how fragile life is.
While Pastor Dolapo Lawal passed a clear message about the unpredictability and fragility of life, the clip from the sermon sparked heated comments due to his Islamic statement.
