Celebrity barman and socialite Cubana Chiefpriest has reacted to the recent killings that occurred in Jos on Sunday, March 29th, expressing grief and frustration over the tragic incident.
In a post shared via his Instagram story, he revealed that disturbing footage of a woman and her child affected by the violence has left him deeply unsettled.
He questioned the recurring nature of such attacks, asking why people derive satisfaction from killing one another and when the cycle of violence would finally end.
Cubana Chiefpriest subtly criticised the state’s leadership, pointing out that the governor had to address people in an armoured tank, which he interpreted as a sign of fear.
He argued that leadership requires courage and a willingness to make sacrifices for the safety of the people.
He further stated that the attack was politically motivated, claiming it appeared designed to embarrass President Bola Tinubu on his birthday.
He called on security agencies to step up efforts and prevent further incidents.
Concluding his message, he prayed for the victims and urged that capable individuals be appointed to strengthen leadership and security across the country.
In his words:
“I have been cold. In the past few days the video of that woman& her child can’t get out of my head.
When will this killings stop How do people desire happiness in killing one another.
When will this ever stop?
The Governor in Jos pulled up in a Bunker does it mean everyone should now pull up in bunkers because he is scared more than the people.
To lead a state you have to be fearless you have to have the ability to lay your life for the people. I feel for everyone in Jos. This was clearly done to embarrass our president on his birthday. Security agencies should brace up to their task allowing this kind of embarrassment on your principal is embarrassing.
I pray God gives President Tinubu The Energy To Select People Capble to Lead With Him. May the soul of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in Peace.”
