Foremost gospel musician, Nathaniel Bassey has reacted to Nigeria’s splendid performance against Mozambique yesterday, 5th January 2026.
Super Eagles thrashed the Mozambique national team in a 4-0 thriller during their Round of 16 tie, thereby securing a vital spot in the 2025 AFCON quarter finals.
Nathaniel Bassey who apparently watched the match took to his X handle to commend the performance of the boys.
He averred that the team played very well and further likened them to Barcelona.
Bassey mentioned some players who stood out such as Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Ndidi, Lookman and Osimhen.
However, he dropped an advice for Osimhen, stating that he needs to watch his temper.
Recall that Victor Osimhen fiercely confronted Lookman during the match for failing to make a crucial pass to him despite the team leading 3-0.
