Amarachi, the wife of the China-based cloth merchant, Nze Obum who lost his life in the tragic Great Nigeria Insurance House fire outbreak has continued to mourn her husband’s demise.
The unexpected incident happened on 24th December 2025, leading to the death of some individuals.
What further increased the death toll was the sudden collapse of a section of the building, causing the debris to descend heavily on some traders and people who tried to recover some goods from the blazing flames.
Unfortunately, Nze Obum who recently came back to Nigeria to spend the Christmas holiday with his family was among the casualties.
A voice note of him calling for help a few moments before he died also surfaced online, spurring emotional comments.
His wife while mourning him, posted a video of their last couple moment prior to the ugly incident.
In a recent development, she also took to her TikTok handle where she posted a photo of their wedding, noting that it was supposed to be their wedding anniversary but death came.
Her post has elicited loads of emotional messages from cybercitizens.
