Nollywood actress Fathia Balogun has opened up about her current relationship with her ex-husband, Saheed Balogun, while also addressing her stance on love and remarriage.
The actress, who has been in the spotlight following the recent loss of her mother, spoke candidly during an interview that has since gained attention online.
In the viral clip, Fathia explained that her connection with Saheed remains cordial and rooted in mutual respect, especially because of their shared responsibilities.
“He’s my ex and he’s my kid’s father and my colleague,” she said, emphasizing the different roles he continues to play in her life.
Despite their separation, she noted that they still interact regularly, largely due to their involvement in the same film industry and their commitment to co-parenting.
Speaking warmly about him, she added, “He’s an amazing father,” highlighting the positive relationship he maintains with their children.
Addressing questions about her future, Fathia made it clear that her past marriage does not limit her personal choices.
“He can’t tell me not to marry again,” she stated firmly.
She further stated that she remains open to love and is willing to embrace it again if the right opportunity comes.
“If I find love, I’ll marry again,” she said, making it clear that she still believes in the possibility of happiness beyond her previous relationship.
