Popular actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has triggered debate on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) following the promotion of her upcoming YouTube movie titled Love Between Two Altars.
The actress shared promotional posters of the project on her social media pages, highlighting its central theme of interfaith romance.
In her caption, she wrote, “We serve one God,” a statement that quickly drew mixed reactions online.
One of the posters featured an interfaith couple surrounded by their families, with both a mosque and a church in the background, alongside the tagline, “Two Beliefs. One Heart. No Easy Choice.”
The movie, which stars veteran actors Taiwo Hassan Ogogo and Antar Laniyan, is scheduled for release on Monday, April 6, on her YouTube channel.

This development comes shortly after a viral moment involving Toyin Abraham and her colleague Funke Akindele at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere in Lagos, where she appeared to have been ignored, sparking online reactions.
The announcement of Love Between Two Altars has since generated debate, particularly among some Christians on X who disagreed with her “one God” statement, while Muslim users also expressed varying opinions on the topic.
