A Nigerian lady identified as Oba has hinted to the public on how to know if they’re living with a snake in the same house.
In a video she shared online, the lady, who described herself as a herpetologist, outlined four ways to determine if a snake is living in the same apartment with a human.
The first sign she disclosed is finding a snake skin around your house. According to her, the chances of a person living with a snake are high if he or she finds such material in any corner of the house.
The second way to know a snake lives in your house is the sudden disappearance of rodents in your apartment.
According to her, if rodents such as rats mysteriously disappear from a house heavily infested by them without the owner taking any proactive measures to stop them, he or she should be on alert as a snake might be around.
The third sign is what she described as a musky smell. According to her, people who can observe this are those who are very sensitive to smell.
She noted that when the house begins to exude a different type of strong smell unlike how it used to be, then a snake could be living with you.
Regarding the 4th, she avowed that if a person lives in a bushy area, a snake must move into his/her house sooner or later.
He added that the surest way to get rid of snakes from your vicinity is through fumigation, stressing that the traditional kolanut and planting of certain trees style isn’t effective.
